PWA campaign cost calculator

Compare the two install-fee scenarios using your own assumptions. This is a cost model, not a revenue forecast. All monetary inputs are in US dollars.

BlackRoom offers

PWA service fee
$0.00
Total modeled cost
$2,100.00
Cost per accepted conversion
$21.00

Third-party offers

PWA service fee
$500.00
Total modeled cost
$2,600.00
Cost per accepted conversion
$26.00

Total = advertising spend + other costs + installs × service rate. CPA = total ÷ accepted conversions. Zero conversions means CPA cannot be calculated. Defaults are illustrative, not product performance data.

Two offer types, two install rates

For traffic to BlackRoom offers, the displayed service rate is $0 per install. For third-party offers, it is $0.05 per install. At 10,000 billable external-offer installs, the service fee is therefore $500.

Confirm how a billable installation is defined, how repeat installs are treated and which reports determine billing. A click on an install button is not automatically a completed installation.

What belongs in the full budget

The calculator adds advertising spend and a separate field for other costs to the PWA install fee. Include any domain, hosting, tracking, creative production, service charges or taxes that apply to your agreement. Listing an item here does not mean BLACK APPS charges it separately.

Do not compare a service fee with a competitor’s total acquisition cost. Compare the same event, period, traffic quality and included services.

Use accepted conversions, not just installs

For a worked scenario, assume 10,000 installs, $2,000 of advertising, $100 of other costs and 100 accepted conversions. External-offer service fees are $500, total modeled cost is $2,600 and cost per accepted conversion is $26. Under the same assumptions, the BlackRoom scenario totals $2,100 and $21 per conversion.

These are arithmetic examples, not a forecast. Different offers can have different payouts, approval rates and audience fit. A lower install fee does not by itself make an offer more profitable.

Questions to settle before funding a launch

  • What counts as a billable install, and how are duplicates or reinstalls handled?
  • Are a subscription, minimum deposit, domains or other charges part of the agreement?
  • Which offer, traffic source and countries are approved for the campaign?
  • How are accepted conversions reconciled and reported?
  • Which specific features and integrations are available for this launch?

Choose the setup before the volume

Use the PWA builder checklist to compare services on equal terms. Then follow the launch checklist so that installation, reporting and the offer journey are tested before more budget is committed.

The rates shown cover the PWA service fee per install, not your entire campaign budget. Confirm the billable event, additional charges and current terms with the manager before launch.

Questions and answers

Does $0 per install mean free advertising?

No. It means the displayed PWA service install fee for BlackRoom offers is zero. Advertising and any other applicable campaign expenses are separate.

Can the calculator predict profit?

No. It models costs using your inputs. Profit also depends on revenue, accepted conversions, offer terms and other expenses.
